Dr. Dharmendra Kumar is a distinguished ENT surgeon and academician with a career spanning over two decades. He holds a postgraduate degree from KGMC Lucknow and has established himself as a leading authority in the field of Ear, Nose, and Throat surgery.

Currently heading  Autonomous State Medical College (ASMC) at Auraiya, UP  as the Principal and Dean.

 Previously he has held several pivotal roles in medical education and administration throughout his career.

Prior to his current position, he excelled as the Head of the Department of ENT and Head & Neck Surgery at Sarojini Naidu Medical College, Agra. He also served as the Principal of Government Medical College, Badaun, and as the Dean of Faculty of Medical Sciences at Rohilkhand University, Bareilly.

His contributions extend beyond administration; he has been a dedicated MCI assessor for the past 12 years, ensuring adherence to medical education standards across institutions. His academic prowess is evident through his publication of more than a dozen research publications in esteemed journals and his role as a subject expert for UPSC, UPPSC, and various State Service Commissions.

A pioneer in surgical techniques, he initiated the parotid duct transposition surgery for severe Xerophthalmia patients and has conducted numerous state-level live surgical workshops. His expertise has been instrumental in mentoring courses on Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) and Temporal Bone Cadaveric Dissection.

Beyond surgical innovation, Dr. Kumar is committed to community health awareness. He has actively promoted ear health through seminars, guest lectures, and street plays (‘nukkad nataks’).

His career journey began as a Lecturer in ENT at SN Medical College, Agra, following his senior residency at LHMC, Delhi in 2002. He attained professorship in 2011, solidifying his reputation as an eminent ENT surgeon and educator.

His leadership, expertise, and dedication have significantly influenced the medical landscape, making him a respected figure in both academic circles and clinical practice.
