Principal's Message

Dr. Mukesh Vir Singh is a distinguished medical professional with an extensive career in the field of Pediatrics. Currently serving as the Principal of the Autonomous State Medical College, Auraiya, he has an impressive background in teaching, research, and administrative roles.

He completed his MBBS from MLN Medical College, Allahabad, followed by a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, and MD in Pediatrics from S.N. Medical College, Agra. With a robust educational background, Dr. Singh has made significant contributions to the field of Pediatrics.

Dr. Singh has held key academic positions, including Professor and Head of the Department of Pediatrics at MLN Medical College, Prayagraj. He also spent 12 years at the UP University of Medical Sciences, Saifai, advancing from Lecturer to Professor. He has contributed 41 research publications and guided over 35 postgraduate theses.

An active leader in the medical community, he served as Vice President of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (Allahabad Branch) from 2019 to 2021. He is also a certified trainer in programs like NRP, NSSK, IMNCI, F-IMNCI, and RRTC, showing his dedication to pediatric healthcare.

Dr. Singh has received numerous accolades including the 33rd Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan National Teacher Award and the Rashtriya Gaurav Award. He has served as MCI Inspector, interview committee member for faculty recruitment, and advisor to public service commissions across India.
